"This was about the fourth time I've stayed at the Dav-Ed. As usual my room was immaculate. This is a classic one-level motel probably from the 1950s but is thoroughly up-to-date. Wifi is good, everything works, everything is clean and in excellent condition (fridge, microwave, TV.) Due to recent back surgery I booked the handicap accessible room (Room 1) which had a totally renovated bathroom, wide bathroom doorway, ramp to front door. The only problem with the room was its proximity to the road...

"I would have given a 5 star but breakfast was lacking. No fresh fruit was available and a little more variety would be nice. The place was clean and the coffee was nice and hot. We have stayed several times since they opened and this was the first time the breakfast was a disappointment. Overall a very nice hotel and the view from our room was beutiful. The lift bridge with lights is a sight to see. I grew up in Ashtabula and still love to see that view. Keep up the good work and just tweak that...

"The people were so nice, friendly, and patient. Our stay was so restful. I accidentally locked my keys in my car. I called AAA to get it open.
