"We love this place. This was our second visit. It is quiet, secluded, and you have a rushing stream right next to the backyard to enjoy. Plus a fire pit with outdoor overhead lighting. Absolutely magical at dusk. The property is well kept, clean, and cozy. The owners are very kind and friendly, and we always have good communication. It’s about 35 minutes from West Jefferson. In our opinion, the best way to get to West Jefferson from the cabin is to turn right at the metal bridge on Walsh road, then take Benge Ashe to Park Vista, to Idlewild Road, to 163. Map software will try to give you directions that include taking the Blue Ridge Parkway, but that is currently closed in both directions in this area for road resurfacing.This is an amazing vacation place!"

"Wonderful cabin! Beautiful location! Host was so very friendly. Deer sightings were abundant! Great location being between Boone and West Jefferson. We will definitely be back!"

"We loved it! It was a nice breath of fresh air. The cabin was so cute! The kids loved the loft. We all enjoyed the front porch. It was a beautiful view! We saw a ton of deer, closer than we ever had before. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway."
