"The Shed Retreat is an ideal getaway location for a Rotorua visit. It's only 20 minutes from the city centre but feels miles away given its rural locale. Great interior decor, a super-comfy bed and of course the cedar spa pool with its view is outstanding. Can't recommend it highly enough."

"We loved the little suite with bed and futon comfortable. Amazing views and peaceful site with only the crashing of the waves in the distant. Facilites are all you really need and comfortable for myself, mum and my dog. Great set up if want to use the games room facilities and meet up with other travellers if there."

"We were three couples staying for several days. The house was situated near the lake with beautiful views. The architecture is beautiful and spacious and kept us comfortable and warm with a gas log fire heater. All amenities were high quality and available. The bedroom was large and offered bath robes which was appreciated. The location is on the opposite side of the lake in reference to te puia ect so very little smell on our stay. "This was our first stay at Millenium Rotorua. The room was very clean and tidy, the bed was really comfortable. We dined in the restaurant, the food was tasty. We also had breakfast poolside. The cost for this was pretty high given the selection that was available. The staff at the bar were awesome. That area could be made to look more exciting with more of a selection of spirits on show, it was a little lacklustre and not conducive to an extended visit, more of a “pop in” place. Overall we would definitely return here, it’s a great location and we thought the staff we encountered were fabulous! "
