"This is a very pretty, instagram able hotel. It is clean and the staff was very nice. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the rooms do not have a deadbolt, chain, or other way for someone inside the room to lock the room so that a hotel employee with a key cannot enter. This is a dealbreaker for me - I would not have stayed here if I had known. The reason is that years ago in another country a hotel employee entered my room with a key and assaulted me. "The staff were incredibly friendly and the property is absolutely stunning. Very luxurious room and amenities. 15 min drive to all of the restaurants etc. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in the area. "

"Really loved our stay here, the view and the sounds of the waves. We really needed this. Hosts were lovely and accomodating. Only thing was, the listing said it was a 2 bedroom, but it’s a one bedroom and the other beds are in the same room as the kitchen, which made it a bit tricky with a 5 yr old and a 5 month old. But we made it work 😊"

"We were three couples staying for several days. The house was situated near the lake with beautiful views. The architecture is beautiful and spacious and kept us comfortable and warm with a gas log fire heater. All amenities were high quality and available. The bedroom was large and offered bath robes which was appreciated. The location is on the opposite side of the lake in reference to te puia ect so very little smell on our stay.
