"B&B Ca' Viro was a truly great find. We arrived by bus (from Sondrio train station) which dropped us right outside the front door - all for the measly sum of €2 each. Our room was wonderful and better than expected. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent. The grounds are a sight to see and our room was only 50 metres from a path along the river which provided some great walks. Breakfast the nect morning was amazing!! "I had a great experience staying at BnB Casa Nini. The location is good for hitting key cities in the Lake Como area, with train and ferry access. The facilities are clean and well-kept. The room was spacious and comfortable. The host is friendly and accommodating - he will provide any information you need regarding ferries, local recommendations, and train service."

"I booked this property kind of last minute and in a rush that i did not realize that they requested 48 hour advance notice for the arrival time. There isnt a front desk. When we arrived at the property and went through the doors I knew that i needed to look at the check-in instructions. At that moment, I saw that they needed advance notice. I was able to call the number listed and the host picked up after a few rings. I informed her of our arrival and she said someone would meet us in 15 min....

"In a good location. About a 20 minute walk from the train station and bus station. Check in was a little strange with no one to great us and had we not had the kindest of a stranger and their Internet, we would have been unable to download the message from the app with the owners number on it to gain access to the property. We saw noone for the whole of our stay. Room was OK. Downside is none of the plug holes had plugs. "

"Beautiful B&B, we had amazing time there! Historic building is well located, right in the old town. You can walk anywhere, great area. Rooms are very big with super high ceilings. Bathroom is also roomy, very nicely decorated. We found the whole building very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast is in a beutiful room, you get everything you need in the morning. Monteo (owner) is very helpful and caring. I travelled with my 2 children from US, and he made our stay very comfortable."

"A beautiful and tranquil b&b. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. It is very hard to get to by public transport if you are hoping to explore lake como but we were picked up from the station and lent bicycles for our stay which was so helpful and made a really nice addition to our holiday (we definitely felt silly for not researching the transport enough before). We will definitely come back! "

We had a disaster with car rental after a delayed flight and the hosts couldn’t have been more kind and understanding. It’s so chilled, welcoming, beautiful and peaceful. I contacted the hotel to ask whether we could store our luggage before we checked in, as we didn't want to carry them all day around the towns in Lake Como. Francesca not only allowed us to store the bags in our room early, but also gave us the key as the room was ready by 9:30am.
