"This hotel is in a great location if you want to visit Melkbosstrand, which in itself is a great area to visit in Cape Town. The hotel is modern and about 500m to the beach and restaurants. Things lacking… no wine opener to open a bottel of wine for 3 nights… apparently there is only one person who has one and they were off on the weekend… shower door doesn’t close so bathroom floor is very slippery… chair in room broken… no generator so during load shedding, no lights/tv/etc in rooms. "The location was spot on... Staff friendly..... Room was not as clean as I hoped for Windows not clean shower didn't work properly Shower drain didn't work properly no hand soap.... Blinds was not working..... But when it came to bfast I was shocked ONLY aloud 1 cofee if you want more drinks you have to pay for it..... Also soaps in room was poor and gave powder milk in rooms for cofee It didn't have that lush feel to it..... More money making feel..... Sad as it has alot going for it.... "

"They have a maximum 2 guest policy but I had booked with 2 children. They allowed us to continue with the reservation as well as provided a cot. Very friendly staff and very helpful with information. Laundry services are also available at an extra cost. Nice quiet neighbourhood "

"The beds were comfortable and bedding and towels were crisp and clean. The space in the penthouse was amazing with enough beds and room for our whole family. The views were spectacular!!! Made the rental totally worth it. The furniture did have some questionable stains. There is a strong marijuana smell. "

"This property was located further out than expected due to the traffic going to all the tourist sites like Lions head, Cape of good Hope, etc. But if you are okay with a 30-40 Uber/Taxi ride then it’s an excellent place to stay. "It was for a leisurely stay and in a quieter part of the waterfront which was ideal for me. Good size bedroom overlooking the working harbour. Great views. Bathroom is a good size. Comfortable large bed with soft bedding."

"We stayed there for a week in one room with 2 adults and 2 kids. Very comfortable room. We had breakfast included and the buffet was endless. Very classy feel throughout the hotel. Short walk to the harbourfront but they also offered hourly shuttles. Location was very convenient for all our tours and just walking around the town. We didn't use the pool - I can comment that it wasn't huge but it seemed adequate. I would definitely stay there again! "
