" Nicely situated on the sea front with rooms looking out onto the bathing pools below. The hotel has extra parking a few minutes walk away accessible with the room card. The staff were all friendly and helpful and breakfast was very nice with a good selection but seemed to be lacking a toaster. Mansion Almond - Sea, sun and a charming refuge!

"This house is beautiful and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. There is a small town in the area with several great restaurants. The house is huge and has an ensuite washroom for each room. The kitchen includes all items you would need so we were able to prepare some of our own meals so we didn't need to eat out all the time. The price was also one of the best I could find with enough beds to fit my whole family."

Pleasant and good location away from hustle and bustle

"There was no hard standing in front of the property as shown on the photo. This had been enclosed with wall and gate and therefore we found it difficult to find. The owner very kindly got us a replacement parasol but it was too light and kept blowing away! The bed linen could have been better, and lighting improved in bedrooms. More door hooks required in bathrooms and bedrooms. Could have done with some local information, eg. supermarket, cash machine, buses, taxis, nearby cafes and restaurants and other facilities. Otherwise good property especially for families. Excellent fish (The Fish Factory) restaurant 8 minutes walk. Apologies to Gabriel as we meant to clear out the fridge! Hope the above is seen as constructive criticism as we enjoyed our stay and found it interesting as good view of the children's football every evening. Thanks you. Linda & Geoff"

Lovely stay in a quiet fishing village

"The villa location was great, right next to the sea and well equipped with excellent facilities. Lovely to have a pool and large deck to sit out on and enjoy the weather and sea view. The village is quiet and laid back and has a handful of good seafood restaurants just a short walk from the villa as well. Communication with Henrique was good and easy to follow check in process. Would highly recommend this villa for a restful break."

"We had a fantastic stay with Maria. The rustic property was in a cute, quiet, and private location with an amazing view of the ocean. Easy parking was available below the church, which was a 5-minute walk away from the property. The garden and view were highlights of the property that we will always remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to anyone wanting to visit Madeira."
