"What a beautiful spot to stay when exploring the Yarra Valley. I loved sitting on the porch and watching the Alpacas. We had everything we needed, and even an emergency box of goodies in case we forgot something. Plenty of firewood for the amazing wood heater, clean and very comfortable beds. The host came over to greet us on arrival, and then left us to enjoy our time. I would stay there again, very happy."

"I really enjoyed staying at Camellia Cottage. It was a very lovely environment, and close to beautiful places such as the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden. The outdoor seating area was relaxing and we loved the fairy lights alongside the nature theme of the cottage. The complimentary hamper was thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Some things we’d like to note is that the green towels gave off lint when used and it was hard to wash off, and the pink umbrella wires became crossed when used. We had...

"Visited in winter, too cold to meet the wombat but it was very beautiful. Despite the chill we spent hours on the back porch watching the view. Fed the parrots, and even had a possum hang out on the deck with us two nights in a row. Very clean, and very well stocked. Will most likely be back!"

"Great sized property for larger groups with easy to deal with hosts. Property is clean, tidy and set in a quiet part of town."

"Overall it was a good experience, and wonderful that it was pet-friendly. Loved having the fire going! The dog could get under the house (beneath the deck) so that was challenging to get him to come out, and not to eat the seeds/nuts in the garden. One area of improvement could be to block it off. It would also be good if some spare linen and/or washing detergent could be supplied as there was only one towel per person."

"We were so pleased to be in Country Cottage. It’s got the feel and character we like, so lacking in most short term accommodation. It’s quiet for sleeping in and has lovely places to sit to eat or relax in the garden and the house, whilst being close to the buzz of Brunswick, good food and great shopping. A perfect blend of the best of both worlds."

"Bright, light filled house in the Dandenong Ranges. Well looked after, fantastic gardens full of life and colour and the sounds of nature. Comfortable and warm retreat just right for the two of us. Close to great restaurants. "

"I stayed here after my wedding night, the check in could be a lot better as we did not receive the key code and had to stand outside the property at 11pm calling for the code, other than that it was a beautiful cottage, great views and peaceful. The drive way is extremely steep so a sedan might struggle. "
