"We were on Amelia Island and the Jacksonville area for our son's wedding weekend. We needed a place that was easy to access, had all the amenities (and updated, nice amenities, I might add) and could accommodate 4-5 couples. Buccaneer Bungalow checked all those boxes and then some. First, the open kitchen leading into the open living room with plenty of seating and a huge kitchen island gave us a place to congreate in the mornings and at night -- perfect for big groups who want more time interacting. Just off the kitchen is the screen in patio. I'm the Dad of this group and had work to do, so the screened in patio was a perfect office space to get away but still see what's going on inside. The bathrooms/showers are relatively newly remodeled, so their big, bright and luxurious. Same with the kitchen and appliances.The location was great, too. We're runners and wanted to run on the beach in the mornings. I didn't measure the distance exactly, but there was an easy mile or so run through a neighborhood before we were on the beach. We got in 4 mile runs each morning and that's just about perfect for us. We are also eaters, and once again the location was great. We were just minutes drive from historic Fernandina Beach with all of its great restaurants and bars.Finally, the owner/manager/host Brian was outstanding. Not too much, not too little. As the title of this review says, this was the best rental experience ever."

"My husband and I enjoyed our week-long stay at this clean, simple and well-equipped condo. I particularly liked the minimalist decorations b/c it made the spreading out of our things and then the gathering up & packing so easy. I also love that the kitchen now has a full view of the ocean. Suzannah also was immediately receptive to our request for 2 additional lamps & I think she'd respond the same if others had special requests. It was freezing at the beginning of our week (parts of Fernandina Beach actually got snow), but the beach was lovely. It's a great beach for walking or jogging-nice hard sand. We visit Fernandina Beach each year to see dear friends who live there & I hope to rent this condo again."

"This was a great apartment, wonderful views. Beds were nice and comfortable. A couple of issues. First off the front door was a nightmare to lock. It was titchy and did not follow instructions. Second there were a number of lights out. On on the balcony, and all the lights in the living room. And the toilet paper!! It was single ply. You would think for what we paid we could get decent TP!!Overall though nice place. "

"This was a lovely house very quiet location the property overall was comfortable and clean check in and check out was easy the only feedback I would share to better prepare others is that you have to pay an additional fee to heat or use the spa that is not listed on the main booking page it was $200 for the spa and use had to be limited before 9:30 p.m."
