"Palmetto Bay is a wonderful place to stay! I loved the beautiful grounds of the resort in addition to the beach and dock. The restaurant and bar were very good and the staff was wonderful, especially Jan! Roatan is a special place amd Palmetto Bay was a great home base to explore it!"

"The beach is not a swimming beach. Sea grass is all over.Did not see one person swim there. Dishes were dirty in cupboard. Hair in drains. I think management company is to blame. The house was second to none."

"We came in January to escape the winter blues. Everything about our stay was perfect. The cottage does not disappoint! Steps from the beach, your own private pool, a stones throw from the restaurant and dive shop. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and bathrooms were large, clean with plenty of hot water and a larger capacity washer/dryer. Amanda and the dive shop were incredibly helpful and made for the perfect dive experience. All in all an A for Palmetto Bay. "

"My husband and I brought our 4 kids, ages 11-17. Everyone had plenty of space and their own room (using the separate smaller villa as well). The AC worked well, house/grounds kept clean. Only thing that could be improved is the water pressure in the master bathroom. Overall well worth it, easy drive to West end and rhe 3”East side to see the entire island! "

"If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and slow your pace, this place is perfect. The dive shop was incredible, brewery and the cove were perfect close by options and we also had a local named Henry pick us up on the boat and take us down the beach to his restaurant. Our kids loved the pool and we loved our slow mornings on the porch with coffee watching all the lizards and hummingbirds. The only downfall is the noseeums be prepared with bug sprays and ointments! "Amazing house on a beautiful stretch of beach. Well maintained and stocked. Comfortable beds and nice places to relax inside and out. The scuba shop is top notch, we went out with Carlos snorkeling every day. Beautiful reef and amazing service. Having AC in the rooms was nice, if even just for the white noise when the wind was up. There are screens on everything but bugs get jn. "
