I had contacted the reservations and events coordinator a month prior to travelling to book activities offered through the hotel: a bicycle tour and a sidecar tour. On arrival it appeared that neither had been booked or organised. The time requested for the sidecar tour was not available. Moreover, prices quoted in the correspondence had risen...

"The manager refused to come open the hotel for 27 people on a tour of Morocco. We had written ahead of time with the arrival of our group and the night arrival seemed to be fine when they though they were going to be securing the $130 ride from the airport. When I found a way less expensive ride from the airport to the Village Palmeraie 2, the manager refused to come open the hotel for our arrival. he left 22 school children stranded in Marrakech without a hotel room."
