"Calvin did a great job of setting us up for our arrival and communicated well. The heater is a fireplace that took some work figuring out how to keep on while turning off the flames. There is a nice little patio with fire pit area for guests to enjoy. Super convenient if seeing a show at the Catalyst. "

"The location was a 8-minute walk to the boardwalk which was nice, the bed, wifi and TV were fine. The pool was indoors, filled with screaming children and honestly looked pretty gross. The lobby appeared to be in state of remodeling and was closed at night, so there was no access to the lobby bathroom. The sign to the motel was covered in cobwebs. The outdoor seating area was in the parking lot or on the street. We were only there for one night and didn't spend much time at the motel so overall...

"We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey."

When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay.
