"Friendly and helpful staff. Good location facing the beach, easily walkable to Paihia town and wharf, also Whitangi Treaty Grounds. On the downside, some noise from the petrol station adjacent to the property. The room was well-equipped, and daily room servicing was excellent. However, the room fixtures and fittings e.g. wooden tables, chairs, kitchen units, bathroom sink, shower unit are showing their age, scuffed and looking well-worn. "Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is simple and clean. Lots of rooms but it didn't feel too busy. Pool and lawn games were a nice way to spend the afternoon. It's a little bit of a walk to the majority of the restaurants, but easily doable. There is also an onsite restaurant (we didn't try it but there were quite a few people there). "

"This motel has basic facilities and will work for those looking for convenience and value for money. We found the place damp and cold. One of the rooms had mouldy curtains and smelly bedspreads. The walls were very thin and we could hear the neighbours moving about. We had to sleep with earplugs on."
