"Great for a night away. We have stayed in a couple of hotels in Paihia, but always come back to the Kingsgate Hotel. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We stayed in a king bed room which has a small seating area with a table and a couch. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Would recommend to couples or family’s. "

"This motel is very nice, comfortable, has everything you need. Even a continental breakfast for $19.00 NZ dollars choices of cereal, toast, spreads, fresh and tinned fruit, fresh crossants,tea,coffee . Amazing owners and staff, i had a studio unit and it was roomy comfortable, clean,tidy, tv. Close to shops, eateries and tours all in a 15 minute walk. I will go back.."

"This property was walking distance (10-15min) to the main town centre and eateries while being away from the hustle and bustle that comes with most town centres. The staff of the property, Angela, Stacey and Keri, were extremely friendly and welcoming, without being too forward. They were happy to guide us with good recommendations, and assisted us with booking some of the tours we were looking to do. In short, this was a great find and we'll return to Admiral's View Lodge with friends and family soon."

"Haka House is a fantastic hostel, I can’t imagine there’s a better option for a stay in Paihia, especially on a budget. Great location, spectacular views from dining and main area. Excellent service with terrific front desk support, Byron deserves a raise. I highly recommend this place, and will stay here again if the opportunity brings me back."
