"This is an older hotel, once a Holiday Inn. Though it doesn’t have the glitz of newer ones, the views are superb, food excellent, staff friendly and helpful, and location very convenient to walking along the waterfront. Loved the buffets with authentic Panamanian food. Do wish the buffet labeled the items that weren’t gluten free however, as I can’t eat gluten. Couldn’t ask the staff because of the language barrier, so missed out on trying some items that I couldn’t be sure about. Also, would be...

"My hubby and i stayed during our 16 yr anniversary. The staff was very helpful in every way. William in the restaurant made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable because he spoke English and was such a excellent host greeting us everyday and giving us his best recommendations. "I had a wonderful stay! The buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. The bed was super comfy, and the modern room was both stylish and functional, complete with a mini fridge for added convenience. Free valet parking was a great bonus, and the location couldn't be better—close to restaurants and shopping areas. The pool on the terrace was a highlight, providing a relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful view. Highly recommend!"

"I had an OK time at Principe. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff was friendly. They spoke English. The hotel was roomy and clean, albeit it shows its age. There was a small, outdoor pool with street view on the 3rd floor. No convenience items, no mini fridge, no microwave. Budget friendly Within walking diatance to grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. I recommend and would revisit."
