"This is an older hotel, once a Holiday Inn. Though it doesn’t have the glitz of newer ones, the views are superb, food excellent, staff friendly and helpful, and location very convenient to walking along the waterfront. Loved the buffets with authentic Panamanian food. Do wish the buffet labeled the items that weren’t gluten free however, as I can’t eat gluten. "I had a wonderful stay! The buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. The bed was super comfy, and the modern room was both stylish and functional, complete with a mini fridge for added convenience. Free valet parking was a great bonus, and the location couldn't be better—close to restaurants and shopping areas. "I had an OK time at Principe. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff was friendly. They spoke English. The hotel was roomy and clean, albeit it shows its age. There was a small, outdoor pool with street view on the 3rd floor. No convenience items, no mini fridge, no microwave. Budget friendly Within walking diatance to grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. I recommend and would revisit."

"Our overall experience here was quite great. The pool was always very clean with plenty of spots to lounge. They’ll even bring you drinks (the caipirinhas were fantastic). Great gym with a full bench press/incline bench, treadmills, machines for essentially anything you need. The restaurant was pretty good as well. The only part that gave our stay a star less were the alarms that went off on our floor various times through our stay. Doubt this was the fault of the hotel (likely other guests) but...
