"Stayed here for a solo trip for my birthday, originally planned to stay just 3 days but ended up extending my stay twice and stayed for a week! Very clean and great value, the staff is amazing and very helpful and kind. The bathrooms are private, kitchen is large with many appliances, the hostel has themed nights such as free wine, beer, ice cream, dinner etc. and a bar crawl, perfect for getting to know others who are also in the same boat as you and travelling solo. "It was clean and nice"

"Home was clean and brand new. Room was large enough and spacious for two but host uses misleading photos. The “Kraken Suite” Infact does not have a connected bathroom which was quite the bummer. You have a private bathroom but have to leave the room in order to access it. Building walls are paper thin as others mentioned, you hear every conversation, door code, door opening and closing of upstairs and downstairs and neighboring units. The room and space were very clean and comfortable otherwise....

"I enjoyed my stay. I found the bathroom clean and the bed was quite comfortable. My only negatives are that it takes a long time to get hot water and it’s light pressure, and the common area floors could use a good wash. The host was easy and efficient to deal with online though. I really enjoyed the codes to get in/out so I could easily walk around neighbourhood and come and go like my own house. I was alone so it’s a perfect stay for solo travellers. If I was with a partner though it may not...

"We checked into the hotel during the bomb cyclone and the computer systems were not working. The lady at the reception did an amazing job getting everyone in during the horrible conditions! The hotel completely lost power around 10:00pm and we were without heat and electricity throughout the night and morning. The seemingly staff of ONE should be commended!"

"The hotels lobby is beautiful and the bar tender was very friendly and made some delicious drinks. I liked how modern the elevators felt having touch screen controls. The room was nice but a bit simple in design. The bathroom however was very beautiful with the all class counter top and having the big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash was splendid. If I am ever need to stay in Tacoma again I will be staying there again if possible. "
