"Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. But that also adds to the charm. Things to note. One room has up and down steps to bathroom and a very narrow opening. We...

"I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The property was full of character, very clean and in a quiet area but within easy walking distance to all the main attractions. Check in was very straightforward. Would highly recommend. "

"The cottage was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed to end our UK trip. We were able to rest, enjoy the sun in the garden, and recoup from our adventure, before hopping on a plane home. Our host was kind and accommodating and responded very quickly. It's a beautiful neighborhood. The only thing to note is it is quite a long walk to/from the train stations and grocery stores. You will need a car or bus to get there."

I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience "

"This beautiful home had the kindest caring hosts who go above and beyond to cater for the little details that make your stay special .Carefully decorated place that gives you all the mod cons you would ever need with the peace and tranquillity…A real jewel ( we definitely will be back )"

"wow wow wow. our stay was exceptional in all ways from the serenity of the beautiful countryside and hearing the sounds of the sheep cows and horses. The cottage was very spacious and well equipped and exceptionaly clean with very high standards in all the furnishings Farmer Tim and his wife were delightful people and very accommodating. we asked for a tea pot. next there there is a tea pot waiting for us at our front door nothing wa to much trouble for them. we will definitely be retuning...

I don’t think there would be anything you could need or want and it not be there. Absolutely Spotless and in a perfect location. "The location of the property was as expected with the furniture clean. The description did not mention parking or assistance with this so it was annoying to find out that you can park outside on the single yellow during certain times - neighbours park there though knowing it is a rental. Our biggest disappointment was the kitchen which was not fully equipped. No microwave, toaster, tea towels, oven dishes, frying pan, chopping board, standard utensils etc. We planned on having Christmas lunch...
