"Pleasant reception, clean lobby, very outdated rooms. Very friendly bartenders but the kitchen was non functional for our stay. Good place to stay for a night pre or post flight out. Not a long term hotel."

"We stay at this hotel when we have to visit UAB hospital. We travel to Birmingham from South Alabama. This is always the cleanest and friendliest hotel. We’ve often had to extend our stay or change something. It has never been an issue and they are very accommodating. "

"They charge for parking $10 plus $1.50 for the privilege of having do a QR code and pay it on your phone which I found irritating. But the nice young man at the desk helped me. Also breakfast buffet is $15 per person. "

"Loved staying here! I enjoyed having the fireplace in the room. Perfect pillows! Everyone was so helpful but my hat goes off to Marcus the bartender. Loved the historical references throughout the building. Room was very spacious and the linens smelled so fresh. "
