Then, begin by sorting the date of visit. Choose the "most recent" or "newest" option, because the hotel ratings from 4 years ago don't really matter anymore, even if they are the most helpful. Next, try to look beyond issues that are based on a date, a single room or staff member. Variables that can drastically affect a stay, like bad weather, a special event, a city-wide power outage, several housekeepers out sick, or a particular front desk worker having a bad day, are random experiences. You're either lucky to get a room next to quiet neighbors, or unlucky to stay during a boy scout jamboree. Your room may have been cleaned by the best housekeeper in the business, or may have accidentally been forgotten altogether. So, try to weed out the chronic problem"
