"A great find. The quirky and cozy hotel close to the Whitechapel tube station made a great base for exploring the city. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a good size - unlike some of the branded budget hotels I have stayed in recently - and the bed was comfortable. The only minor complaint is I missed having a kettle in my room - the tea/coffee machine on my floor was out of order making it less convenient.
