"This property and guest house was the perfect retreat for our trip while exploring the Hilo side of the island. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was immaculate and spacious. Jeff and Jennifer were very kind and accommodating hosts. They made sure the guest house was fully stocked with kitchen supplies, sunscreen, beach chairs and coolers, and laundry detergent. We wish we could've stayed longer!"

"It is a very nice property. Gorgeous cabin with a beautiful view. It is more comfortable for a couple than a family. My family noticed a strong musty smell. We opened the windows immediately. It is very cozy and overall a nice place to stay to take in the beauty of the area."

"Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). Don't miss Uncle Robert's on Wednesday night with other locals. It was a great time. Also, the Lava Flow museum in Pahoa...

"The staff was professional and helpful. The lobby provided free fruit flavored water and hot tea and coffee, which was great! First time guests should be told during check in that reservation for room cleaning must be made in advance. My group had a good time at this hotel."
