"We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are impeccable, the spa, the pool and the general atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming! We liked the service, especially at the bar and the buffet style restaurant La Veranda.The only slight disappointment was the fact that we were not able in 5 days of our stay to book a dinner reservation at Les Fresques. "The location is very rural and quiet. The hotel rooms are fine however the bathrooms are dated. Our room and our friends room had hairs all over the bathroom floor and in the bath so it was not clean enough. We had booked the restaurant for dinner and it was not busy when we arrived. However it took about 1h 30 for our food to arrive. We ended up cancelling our starters because it all took so long. I pointed out that a couple next to us who arrived after our table were served all their courses...

Unique modern style hotel in a fantastic location

"Room - We stayed in the 'Lovely Room' for 4 nights which was actually quite spacious. It had a hairdyer, great toiletries, big TV with chromecast, small desk, speaker and an amp for a guitar! The slight quirks/issues was there was no storage space except for the small wardrobe. There is room for shelves/drawers underneath the main shelf so would be helpful if they added this. The room was unusually warm for January, the air con wasn't great but could at least open a window. The shower is a glass cube with an outside curtain for privacy - was fine for us but might not be everyone's cup of tea! There is a galley on each floor with an iron and where you can get tea, coffee and water which is great although the tap takes a bit of getting use to. The breakfast is really good with great choice and allergens are labelled. The staff are really friendly and the bar area and cocktails are great! If you forgo room cleaning the you get a free drink voucher for the bar which is great. The best part about this hotel is the location, right in the heart of the old town area and as within a shopping complex, its generally quite quiet. Only 10-15min walk from the station. Great hotel for the price! "
