As we would go out for the day there were always people having professional photos as well as doing amateur photography directly out our door. "Property itself was great and spacious. The check-in instructions were a little confusing, but we were able to check in and check out without much trouble. The only problem was communicating if we needed anything - we ran out of body wash and we left a note on our door because staff would come by and collect garbage and old towels. "A beautiful, calm oasis in the middle of Gion. Spacious and relaxing apartment. Easy walk to many, many Gion restaurants. Super helpful host."

Location is great and you can walk the Gion neighbourhood whenever you like. You can walk to Yasaka Jinja and Shijo easily as well. The bus stop is only 100m away and Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka are only a few stops away. There is also a direct bus to Kinkakuji if you want to visit it. A couple of issues with the property.
