"Very nice experiencing the traditional Japanese culture, including the hot springs and the food. The staffs are nice and food are delicious. It is very relaxing. Even though, the staffs are mostly from foreign places, they still are able to provide the traditional Japanese experience. "

"Nice Japanese boutique hotel within walking distance to town. Single storey Japanese style cottages or rooms (new wing) surrounded by Japanese gardens and features. 4-5 private in door and outdoor onsens to choose from. Delicious breakfast and for those with 1/2 board, the set dinner was very good with free flow of sake, coffee/tea and orange juice. Coffee/tea and orange juice also available at the reception lobby throughout our stay. Will stay again if visiting Yufurin in near future"

"Close to the Beppu Station which was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hana Beppu. They were very welcoming and helpful. Very clean with spacious rooms. Food was very good at the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay at Hoteiya. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and very attentive. There was a shuttle to and from the Yufuin JR station that was an easy phone call to arrange. The facilities were sparkling clean. We liked the different bathing areas. We didn't have dinner but we loved the breakfasts, which were different every day. The town of Yufuin is breathtaking.
