"Fantastic experience! The Hobbit House is compact but extremely comfortable and functional! The hosts were very kind and hospitable, offering us a welcome basket with fresh eggs, bread and orange juice. They also shared lots of excellent suggestions for places to visit and even shared homemade sausages and regional wine with us! The surrounding farm is very quaint and we enjoyed feeding the horse and goats! An added bonus was being able to hold newly hatched chicks! The farm is minutes...

"We had a very peaceful stay at La quinta azul. Philippe and Bernard were perfect hosts, and Nino of course. The Quinta is in the perfect location to go to Lagos, Faro, and Portimao and the weather was always so nice in Silves. The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by cacti and olive trees, you’re able to walk through the trails on the property. Our only recommendation for improvement would be comfier beds and better wifi - but those are minor details.We will most certainly be back 😊"

"Property was nice with good rooms and private patio. Only drawback was that it was cold and the portable heaters were insufficient to provide a temperature reaching 18 degrees C. They also added electricity cost of about 40 Euros per week. We booked for March which this year was too early."

The property, in a quiet, quaint neighbourhood, was just what we were looking for and within 5 minutes' walk of the centre of Ferragudo via narrow, cobbled ruas , most barely a cars-width wide, and steep flights of steps. There there is a pocket-sized "supermarket" with all essential supplies, including fresh meat and vegetables and some superb wines. A city-sized supermarket is 30 minutes' away. "A fantastic stay in an idealic semi remote setting only 7mins from beautiful Silves. The pool was a God send in the hot weather and there was air con in the kitchen plus fans in the bedrooms. The host only lived down the road so let us in when we arrived and always on hand if we needed anything"

The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff.
