"Located in the centre of the village. There's a good grocery shop 2 minutes' walk away for all needs (closed lunchtimes, Sundays and public holidays). Restaurants mostly closed in winter but there's a good little cafe. There's a rail station (Mex. Grande) under 10 mins walk away that may look abandoned but has a schedule along the coastal railway, buy ticket on train with cash only. Infrequent trains so we used the ride share app to get to the coast which was as cheap as 2 going by train/bus....

"Der Check-In Prozess lief über eine andere Person als der Vermieterin. Wir haben nie jemanden persönlich angetroffen. Die Kommunikation via WhatsApp funktionierte aber gut. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut, in einer nachgefragten Gegend - was einzig den hohen Preis erklärt. Es gibt einen Parkplatz, direkt nebenan aber auch einen großen öffentlichen Parkplatz. Die Unterkunft, und vor allem die Stühle sind deutlicher abgenutzt, als die Fotos dies suggerieren. Es gibt nur einen Liegestuhl und der...

"Pedro welcomed us with a warm hart and gave us the best tips. The house was more than we could have wished for! Pool was amazing and the house felt like coming home! The house, pool and location was the red ribbon of our wonderful stay in beautiful portugal. We will come back for sure :) "

"Un posto meraviglioso, immerso nella natura ma comunque vicino a un centro abitato con negozi e supermercati e a vie principali di comunicazione, quindi ottima base per visitare l'Algarve e il basso Alentejo. Wolf è un ottimo host, presente nella proprietà e sempre disponibile per fornire assistenza e consigli. Il luogo è spettacolare, silenzioso e perfetto per le passeggiate o lunghi giri in kayak sul lago (sono arrivato alla diga e tornato, un pomeriggio splendido). Consigliatissimo"

"We had a very peaceful stay at La quinta azul. Philippe and Bernard were perfect hosts, and Nino of course. The Quinta is in the perfect location to go to Lagos, Faro, and Portimao and the weather was always so nice in Silves. The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by cacti and olive trees, you’re able to walk through the trails on the property. Our only recommendation for improvement would be comfier beds and better wifi - but those are minor details.We will most certainly be back 😊"

"Maison très sympathique, avec une piscine très agréable. Une rénovation de la salle de bain est à prévoir. L'emplacement est calme, avec quelques commerces à proximité. La terrasse est protégée du vent quotidien même en août. Soirées fraîches, parfait !"
