"We had a very peaceful stay at La quinta azul. Philippe and Bernard were perfect hosts, and Nino of course. The Quinta is in the perfect location to go to Lagos, Faro, and Portimao and the weather was always so nice in Silves. The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by cacti and olive trees, you’re able to walk through the trails on the property. Our only recommendation for improvement would be comfier beds and better wifi - but those are minor details.We will most certainly be back 😊"

"We spent our first night here when visiting Portugal. It is in a small town where you can get the local feel of Portugal. Locating it and parking was easy. The property was well furnished. Very nice terrace too!"

"We booked this property to enjoy a relaxing week at the Algarve. As it was not clear to us, what kind of street runs close by the property, we asked the owner. She responded that this road is not disturbing. But unfortunately this is not true. This is the main road from Lagos to Portimao and you have traffic 24/7. You might not hear it, when all windows are closed, but sitting outside at the pool, on the terrace or having the windows open, you have to expect constant traffic noise. This was very...

"fantastic accommodation, very good location and nice pool ( a little cold this time of year). The owners communications and hospitality wee really good and helpful. The accommodations is in very convenient locations, walking distance from Beach and restaurants. Very modern and well equipped, with off-road parking and everything you could possibly need. "Located right in the center of Alvor, very close to restaurants and shops. The downside is that there is a huge construction site neighbouring the house. Lots of noise. Instructions to get into the house was unclear, the key was missing from the key chain. We waited more than 30 min to get in. There were 4 doors and none of the keys worked. We had the main floor. The upstairs is rented as well. The doors knobs need replacing, they barely work and one came off in our hand. Cleaniless...

"Located in the centre of the village. There's a good grocery shop 2 minutes' walk away for all needs (closed lunchtimes, Sundays and public holidays). Restaurants mostly closed in winter but there's a good little cafe. There's a rail station (Mex. Grande) under 10 mins walk away that may look abandoned but has a schedule along the coastal railway, buy ticket on train with cash only. Infrequent trains so we used the ride share app to get to the coast which was as cheap as 2 going by train/bus....
