Oceanside has really improved their 'boardwalk' experience and local culture. It has a fun beach vibe while retaining it's cultural and local charm. Definitley go check it out!

Besides the beachfront, the plethora of coffee shops, bars, craft drinks, restaurants and shops. mult-plex cinema downtown and several theaters, there were other activities and sights. All were walkable

A $5.00 parking all day fee was great, morning walks along the beach area, café with a bagel and then return for lunch or evening dinner options.

We've been here before when my son-in-law was stationed at Camp Pendleton 10 years ago. Oceanside has has grown and there are so many people now. We enjoyed our short visit and plan to return in the future.

Had dinner on the marina at the Oceanside Broiler and the food was terrific. Also ate at Hunter Steakhouse and I highly recommend this for a great steak and delicious dessert!

Oceanside is getting pretty congested. Used to live here. Does not feel like a small beach community at all. Will come back as long as family is still here.
"The first night I stayed I woke up to a tour bus nearly hitting my car while backing up because the facility had blocked the reasonable exit option. The second I woke up to see several police cruisers in the parking lot. The staff were not friendly and acted as if I was bothering them to do their job, we had no room freshen up and had to go to the lobby to request clean towels. The best way to explain the value of this property is you get what you pay for."
