"Did not give us an accurate address, spent 45 minutes walking around to try and find it. VRBO manager had no idea we were coming. Several dogs barked outside our door for HOURS on end. Bathroom had ramen noodles in the drain?"

"We spent 2 night here while doing a cave tubing excusion. The location was easy to find with the help of the taxi at the airport. The unit was as pictured and very clean. It is about a 20-30 min walk to the belize sign and restaurants down near the water, on the way there is a grocery store. It was nice having access to a fridge and cutlery in the unit so we could make our own breakfasts and store dinner left overs. "It was decent but the photos are a bit misleading...outdated with remnants of yesteryear throughout. The roof access is actually outside of the room (with a clothes hanging on a clothes line). The sitting area (with the view) has outside exit is an locked emergency only exit (no access to outdoors). No access to dock. "IT WAS CLEAN, LARGE, SAFE, GREAT LOCATION FROM AIRPORT. WE WERE ABLE TO GET PICKED UP FROM THE CONDO TO TAKE A TUBING, ZIPLINE, AND RUIN TOUR. THE HOST AND HIS DAUGHTER WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING, SHE LET US STOP AT A STORE BEFORE WE GOT TO THE CONDO. THEY PROVIDED TAXI SERVICE FOR AN EXTRA $25. SO CONVENIENT! "

"All of the staff were extremely friendly, we also got a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse which was deluxe. The pool and lounge area were clean and comfortable. A great place to stay in Belize City. Right on the water, but easily walkable into down town."

"What a remarkable experience it was staying at The Palms. They provided us with ease from the get go when our flight was cancelled and we missed one day into our vacation. When we arrived, they set the personal touch with a hand written note and delicious coconut bread. The rooms were absolutely pristine with everything you need. The best part of our stay was Marlon, the hotel manager. His kindness, professionalism and thoughtfulness was incredible. We instantly felt welcomed and at home. He was always available with anything we needed and help curate wonderful excursions throughout our stay and even called taxis for us when we didn’t know where to find one. I can’t thank him enough for all he has done to make our stay unforgettable. The Palms picked a great manager for their property. We didn’t want to leave and look forward to our next visit."
