"A perfect location for an overnight stay. We met up with our oldest grandson who lives two hours to the south of Merriville. Disappointed that there was no pool, not the grandchildren didn’t seem to mind. The complimentary “Happy Hour” was cancelled due to the holiday so that was a bit disappointing as well. The staff was exceptional and very welcoming to all of us. Overall the 7 of us had a comfortable stay at the hotel."

"Comfortable room and decent bed, but I was disappointed the prominent fireplace wasn't in working order. The room was also missing a coffee table by the couch. The walking trail outside was a nice touch, but the roar of the highway was a bit much. However, loved the restaurant -- both the ambience and the food!"

"Was overall great, we will always come back. Knocking off a star because the room was not ready by check-in time, messing with our plans while we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Also, the screws on one hinge on a bathroom door had popped out. Easy repair with some longer screws, but meant the door couldn’t be closed during our stay."
