"Chateau Elan is extremely beautiful. Everyone at the resort is nice and accommodating. The Pub on grounds had terrible customer service each time we went. The waiters never engaged with us and service was non existent. "

"Room was beautifully decorated. Staff was friendly. Good breakfast. Found a half eaten prop cookie upon entrance into room and in bathroom. Inside of bathroom door was scratched - looks like a dog was left in bathroom and scratched the door to get out. Otherwise, everything was clean and very neat. "

"We stayed at the Ridges Resort for Christmas while visiting family. The Pros: The resort's main area had floor to ceiling windows, overlooking a beautiful lake, a lovely Christmas tree and a warm fireplace. Definitley felt warm and cozy for the holidays. The rooms were clean. The cons: The resort was a bit on the outdated side. it took 10-15 minutes for the hot water to kick-in once the shower or sink was turned on. Overall a good stay. Very quiet without a lot of activity. "

"We had to make a lady minute reservation to come early because of expected snow. I wish we had booked this hotel for our entire stay. The stay was so friendly and helpful. Great rooms. There is a cafe in the lobby but it is also near several other shopping and dinning options."
