"We traveled to the area for some winter hiking on the nearby Appalachian Trail and luckily chose to stay at the Lake Chatuge Lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff, our room was large and comfortable, adequate breakfast, and a nice bonus for us; clean and economical laundry machines on our floor. Great nearby locally owned restaurants and retailers too. We originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 2 additional nights. We will definitely return for our next North Georgia mountain hiking trip!"

"Overall, this is an amazing cabin that we hope to stay in again! Pros:5 Star Service. They respond quickly, are effective, and are understanding. The cabin's. Even the closets are room size. There is lots of seating and amenities. There were towels galore which was a concern. The kitchen was well equipped. The layout, as shown, with the glass and pool centered was great for seeing everyone and maneuvering the space. The location is amazing, with a great view of the lake and hills/mountains while also being in great proximity to stores (including groceries) and restaurants. There's a room that's not shown that's an extra lounge and office area with a desk, sofa (pull-out bed), and tv in it. The con of this is that this is why they say it sleeps 20. However, the place really can sleep 20 comfortably depending.Cons:There is some maintenance and extra cleaning that could be done. There were "not working" signs throughout the home, including on doors. The speakers in the pool room don't connect to anything. HVAC and water heater highlights: rooms on the same floor experienced different temperatures, "hot spot" in the foosball area, multiple cold showers, and the pool room doesn't have HVAC, so it was cold. So the pool temperature didn't seem to keep up and reach the 80 degrees. The hot tub placement was ok, but would've been better placed outside of the pool area. You have to either walk out of the pool area and around the house, or go through the master bedroom."

"My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. The chalet is perfect. Cool decor and everything we needed. The owner recommended several restaurants, that were really good. We will definitely be booking here again!! "

"The property was very clean and very comfortable. The view was awesome. The weather was not the best so we had to stay inside the whole trip but it was so nice and comfortable. The one thing that I would recommend would be to have more towels and wash cloths and toilet tissue. We had to purchase theses "

"We absolutely loved this lake house. We will return! It was a home away from home with all the necessities and then some. The location and view were perfect! I can only imagine how much fun this would be during the summer. The downstairs was nice for my teens to hang out in. If this place had a hot tub it was be the cherry on top!"

"Not enough can be said about this property. Right on the lake, really pretty home, very well stocked, very well maintained. We had some trouble with the fireplace - us(er) issue - so we contacted Priscilla, the property manager. She, not only, responded right away but came by and showed us how to work it, correctly. Definitely coming back. "

"This home is situated in the perfect location with panoramic views of the mountains and Lake Chattuge. The neighbors were friendly and we were close to all the shops and restaurants. We vacationed with 4 adults, 2 children, and our dogs. The entire yard was fenced in to provide our fur babies the freedom to roam without leashes. The fence by the hot tub was tall and provided privacy. This home is spacious with 3 brings, 2 baths, a living room, large kitchen, and dining/den area. The table was perfect for building gingerbread houses and playing games. The weather was frigid, so we especially enjoyed the fireplace. We recommend visiting Hiawassee Brew for a great selection of craft beer and tasty food. We also highly recommend Lakeview Tavern. The appetizers and entrees were delicious and huge portions. We will definitely be back!"

"We were pleasantly surprised with the homes and all the extra space. We had 5 women cooking in 2 kitchens and had everything we needed. We had 10 people and could easily had many more. The views were amazing of the lake in the mornings and the evenings. The beds were comfortable and plenty of linens. We bought firewood and used the huge firepit down by the lake for smores. We had brought out own marshmallow sticks but didn't need them The home had everything you could think of. We will definitely come back this summer!"
