"We loved our stay at the Hawthorne! The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and well-maintained. The bed was a little small for two adults, and I was surprised it was considered a two-person room. We also were surprised that there was no mini-fridge in the room. I know it's a small space, but something would be helpful. My partner is insulin-dependent and we were able to make do with a bucket of ice from the machine, but it wasn't ideal. Other than that, everything else was great. Front desk staff were...

"I know most people prefer hotels to old school motels, but Knights Inn actually had a fridge and a microwave. I didn't have get redressed when my delivery food came, because unlike the fancy places, there was no one preventing the delivery driver from reaching me. The door had a good lock. The room was a good size. I didn't have to lug my stuff through a giant building. I didn't have my animals with me, but I could have. I wish motels weren't disappearing. I honestly prefer this set up."

"The Innkeeper and staff were very accommodating. The room was very clean and all we really needed for a few nights. The rooms were updated. We would have liked a table or bench or chair to put items on or sit on. There was not enough room in the bathroom to put toiletries. We would go back. "

"Hotel was comfortable, room was clean and well serviced. My only complaint. If you have a car it costs $20/night to park there. I was there for a week so it cost me $140. Also the machine where you get a ticket, and the machine where you exit are VERY unfriendly. Must actually get out of the car to get the ticket, and also much of the time the exit machine that controls the gate to get out DOES NOT WORK half the time. "
