"I was told that my reservation wasn’t made and I couldn’t stay. Since it was late, I had no choice but to stay at a hotel that charged three times the price. Was it the hotel’s fault or Expedia’s fault? If there was no reservation, how could I write a review?"

"We really enjoyed our quick stay at The Orchid Retreat in Agra, India! I was surprised how close we were staying to the Taj Mahal, as we were able to walk there to get in line & buy tickets in advance online. The staff were so timely, friendly, & helpful with Taj arrangements and information. The rooms were well maintained and cleaned nicely. The food was very nice. "We were not able to find this place I Shivala. The telephone number provided for the property was not answers on both days for which we had booked the hotel. This looks like a con. Our money should be refunded with an apology from the hotel and expedia"

"Evergreen Suites is a reasonably priced guesthouse in a very nice area of Delhi, convenient to Defence Colony Market, and a short taxi ride from the New Delhi train station, Connaught Place, and many other central locations. I've stayed here 3 times recently and the room is always clean and comfortable. The family style breakfast is excellent, and the manager was very helpful in arranging taxis for me. I will continue to stay here on my visits to Delhi, and recommend it to others as well."

"Very helpful staff, friendly and very willing to give you advice about the city and what to do but not working with any tour guides to sell you things - free advice. The place was clean and comfortable with easy access to the metro, train and bus station. Would stay again. "

"Great place to stay in Delhi. All staff were very kind and helpful specially Saroj mishra. The breakfast was spicy but superb and they were very accommodating providing us with none spicy omelettes. Their breakfast chai was amazing! The room was clean and house keeping was done when requested. Four water bottles were provided every day. The only downside is that the kitchen odours can be smelled in our first floor room."
