"This property is absolutely perfect for a getaway of several couples on a gourmet cooking weekend. Each couple had lovely bedroom with private bathroom and a central kitchen that was extremely well stocked. The setting is beautiful with a beautiful walk to the ocean side. Close proximity to Chemainus. Heidi was welcoming, helpful, and responsive. My group will likely be back!"

"The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. "Loved the Old McDonald's farm vibe. Goats! Chickens! Ducks! Orchards! Lee was so welcoming and easy going. We stayed in the RV, which was roomy for the two of us and well-appointed, incl outlets near the bed for overnight charging. Chose the bunk bed cubby over the Queen size bed and slept like a baby. Unfortunately we didn't know we were going to stay in the RV, which is uninsulated, so weren't quite dressed warm enough. Also, communicating before arrival was difficult; we didn't know that...

"The view is breathtaking! If wildlife is what you're after this is the place. Everything from the resident squirrel, hummingbirds, kingfishers, gulls working on swallowing starfish (no easy feat), eagles, lots of different marine birds, seals, river otter, sea lions galore catching dinner right out front, porpoise and a small pod of orca, however, the house does need some TLC."
