"I had family in town for the holidays and needed a place for overflow. The house was in the perfect location, clean, had everything needed and the owners were very responsive. The upside was that there was no checklist of things to do at the end of the stay. "

"We stayed here on our trip to visit our son and daughter-in-law in the area. From the moment we booked through our check out, John was a very communicative and hospitable host. We really enjoyed the property as it reminded us of home and was a quiet haven to come back to after a day of sightseeing. The home was very well equipped, and the eggs and honey from on site were a welcome surprise. We will definitely return when in the area."

"My son and my overall had a great experience at this place. The building is a little older, but inside is good ebough for what we needed. Had no problems with neighbors or the area it is in. The hosts were very responsive with messages. I would definitely stay again."

"We were in town for Thanksgiving and stayed at this home for over 2 weeks. Nice home and location. Convenient to a lot of restaurants and entertainment. Layout with 2 living areas was perfect for our family. Host was very responsive. We hope to visit again!"

"The location is certainly excellent. Accessible to everything that we were hoping for. Restaurants, the United Center for the basketball game we came to attend. Property needs a bit of a facelift. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Whole foods right across the street was a bonus. Plenty of towels and linens. Remote controls for the TVs were all dead so we had to buy our own AAA batteries which was kind of. M annoying.k Propefacelift"

"We were stock showing and the distance to the barn was great. Nice older home. Very spacious. Game area was used by the kids. Loved that there were 4 king sized beds but they were quite firm (reason for 4 stars). "

"The house is as seen on the photos. Great little house for our family trip to attend to our daughter’s sport event. Easy access around town. Kitchen had all needed for cooking. Beds were very comfortable and ceiling fans in all rooms. *Props* to the owner for working with us when we thought we had booked for 2 nights and mistakenly only reserved 1 night. He helped with our belongings while his team waited for us to return. Sad that we had to leave as it was the perfect home for our trip. ...

"We spent a cozy weekend here in January with friends and it was terrific. My husband is an amateur chef and was surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. The house is very cute and comfortable inside and was a perfect small group setting. The only caveat is that the house is located in an "up-and-coming" neighborhood on a main street with lots of traffic. You won't want to go out walking in the evenings. "The house was nice, clean, and well-stocked with essentials. We stayed in it for a horse show, which was pretty much a straight shot to John Justin. It is a duplex and as long as you are luck to get quiet neighbors it is great. We were not so lucky for a few nights, but the host addressed the situation and we had a much quieter stay after that. "
