"Great Stay"

"Overall, we had a great trip. There was nothing that lessened the enjoyment we had together as a family. However, there were a few things that may be normal in a mountain log cabin, but perhaps could be upgraded. There were a lot of stairs into the house and guest house and only one bedroom on the main floor of main house so seniors had a harder time of it. Cleaning was hit and miss. "We enjoyed spending time with friends and family for a long weekend. We had three families stay at the house and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the long weekend. We enjoyed skiing and playing in the snow. Great location! "

"We spent a cozy family Christmas at this spacious cabin outside of Asheville/Mars Hill. The cabin was easy to find, the hot tub was a favorite of the family, internet worked just fine for a cabin, and we had an enjoyable week- long stay.Only issues with the space were that the place needs a good cleaning, which might have been still delayed due to regional hurricane clean up. We also might recommend a set of instructions for how best to use their specific fireplaces as we are admitted novices...

"This is a wonderful place to stay. The Lodge feels like a mountain lodge from the 40s or 50s that has been transported to modern times with all the modern amenities and comforts you’d expect from a modern upscale hotel. The rooms are well appointed, mattresses thick and comfortable and even really good pillows. Great views of the lake as well throughout. Quiet. "Our stay was absolutely incredible. The house was big enough for all 16 members of my family. The kitchen was enormous, we all enjoyed eating meals together. Every person in the house enjoyed sledding down the very large driveway. We had the best stay! "

"We stayed at this property the week before July 4th, the house had enough space for our group of 18 people, the views of the property and the neighbor's horses were amazing. We especially enjoyed the open back yard area where we played many rounds of corn hole and the tennis courts. The temperature was wonderful for the middle of summer so we all enjoyed being outside. "This property is absolutely stunning! We brought the "matures" and one teenager and there was something for everyone. The only caveat was the code to get in didn't work when we arrived. That is always a stressful way to kick off, but the realty company handled within minutes. And we were able to access with a key and a new code. Enjoyed this spacious lodge for a long weekend. We would definitely stay again."

"The house and property were amazing. We had a great time even though it was just for a weekend. We toured App State and had a wonderful time at the house. It accommodated 12 of us perfectly and we would highly recommend anyone to reserve the property. The views are spectacular! The management company responded quickly to all of our questions.
