"We visited Augusta to attend the funeral of a family friend and were fortunate to discover the LookAway Inn. This beautiful historic home exudes southern charm, making it a perfect retreat during a difficult time. The lobby is elegantly designed, capturing the essence of southern hospitality, while our rooms were impeccably clean and exceptionally comfortable. The innkeeper, John, truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Knowing we arrived early for the funeral, he graciously arranged for us to change comfortably before heading out. After spending the day with friends, we returned to the inn for a delicious breakfast that was the perfect start to our day. The location of the inn is not only convenient but also offers stunning views. We took a lovely stroll to the waterfront for dinner, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend the LookAway Inn for anyone seeking a charming and accommodating place to stay in Augusta."

"Gotta say it... we're glad Latasha was on duty when we checked in! Lots of goofy things messing up with the key cards and the parking gate, etc. she handled it all with grace, courtesy, and respect. Very pleasant experience!"

"I booked the wrong day somehow. I called hotels.com and they handled it plus got me a $20 discount! Beds were comfortable, i overslept thru breakfast..check out is noon.. great! Love having a sink in the "kitchen". Everyone was nice. The couch could be cleaned is all. "
