"I stayed here for a family girls' trip and didn't have any complaints. Only two things were when we called for towels, we never received them, so I had to go to the front desk the next morning because we fell asleep and secondly, the rooms were a bit small, but that didn't burden our trip. The staff were friendly and always helpful, making sure our stay was great, which it was! Even the car service they have to book to take you to the airport is so convenient. I have to say that I will book again as when you are looking for hotels when you get there, you are fooled. I love the area, and I love the hotel. There is even a gym which I didn't realise until late, and the breakfast spot we used daily, waffles were good! See you next time!"

"What a gem! Took granddaughter to NYC for her 10th bday and this was the perfect place to stay. It had been 25 Myers since I was in NY and remembered the tiny rms with barely room to walk between the beds. The rooms here were spacious, comfortable and came with fridge and microwave. Housekeeping staff wanted to please and the front desk had answers for all our questions. Definitely will stay here again1"

"So I run hotels for a living, I also 'deflag' hotels as part of what I do. Romer is without doubt one of, if not THE, best example of a 'de-branded' hotel. You would NEVER know that just 2yrs ago this was a tired, rundown Hampton Inn. The new owners renovation and creation of 'Romer Neighborhood Hotel' is nothing short of EPIC. The new lobby is beautiful, its a great space to hang out, hold business meetings, the café, albeit with a limited menu, does everything you need and ensures you can grab a quick bite or a decent coffee if you don't want to run out to the thousand coffee shops /starbucks . deli's, within a two minute walk. The rooms are fantastic, BECAUSE this was an old Hampton Inn the rooms and suites are significantly bigger than you would normally get in a Hells Kitchen / Times Square hotel. The bathrooms are good, they aren't going to blow your mind but they are roomy enough for a 5 day stay without feeling like your showering in the standard NYC coffin sized shower. Also the provided toiletries are a really nice! so no need to bring your own shower gel or shampoo! I also want to give a shout out to the team on property, (I stayed 4 nights 5 days over a weekend, so I got all shifts) are AMAZING! They are a true credit to the property. Front of House are amazing, the housekeepers are just wonderful, we had the same lady every day for our stay and she absolutely went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. I can not recommend this property enough! "
