"The staff was very helpful to me, with certain problems I created. I forgot my shoes in the room at check out, then accidentally took the room key after check-out. One of the staff found me on the train minutes before it left and I gave him the key back! Besides that, the onsen facilities were great. My only complaint was that coffee was only available for limit d hours in the morning and you had to pay for it."

"It was quite at night, clean, and the staff were very nice. Only 2 down sides I saw were that there was no safe in the room I stayed in and that the shower randomly got hot."

"I loved the decor of my bedroom - little Japanese touches which made it feel special. The location was also excellent and easy to find, being close to the Gion corner and 10 minutes walk or so to the train station, shrines and shops. The staff were also very helpful and the free breakfast (of rolls and pastries) was perfect."
