"Based on other reviews I had read prior to our stay, I was expecting the manager to provide a cold welcome, but it was just the opposite - he (and his son?) were very welcoming and also polite as we were leaving. The room was as expected, nothing fancy, but did the job, especially for under $100 per night - shower pressure was great, bed was relatively comfortable, parking right next to your room, walkable to some restaurants nearby, although the walls were pretty thin, so it really depends on...

There are hiking trails around the property, swimming pool, and other activities within the campground. Easy driving distance to Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, and Port San Luis.
