"On our way back from a weekend in NYC and NJ, our car's tire rod broke less than a mile from the border of our home state of Maryland. We could not get it repaired on a Sunday evening, so we had to find a last minute hotel. The City of Newark police officer who helped us get a tow told me to avoid the two cheapest and worn down hotels off I-95, so I went for the next best deal in town.
