"It was dirty and poor lighting, roaches were in our room, and the elevator was not working well. Remodeling was going on and hotel looked messy."

"A lot of souped-up, very loud cars drove by on the nearby street. Obviously, this issue is totally beyond the control of the hotel. Also, when you are looking for this hotel while driving, be aware that the signs say something like “Save-On”, not “Hill Country Inn”. I assume that this inconsistency will eventually be fixed. Overall, this hotel is a fair deal for its price."
