"Lovely little hotel in an ideal spot, not too far from Keswick, but far enough for quiet. Plenty of walks near by and a good base to set up from to get around. We did take our dogs, and the hotel was very welcoming. The only issue we had was the car park was littered with dog poo and it was a battle to not stand in it. Had this not been an issue, we would have provided 5 stars all round. "

I was able to walk into town every night with a great choice of local cafes, restaurants and pubs. My room was fantastic. To my surprise I had what looks like a new but very large bed.
