"citizenM Amsterdam South is a unique chain of hotels with a micro footprint focus. Each room has an "open" show and toilet area in the main bedroom, partitioned by a glass tube and or curtain, which takes some getting used to. The staff is stellar, I enjoyed when they called us guest "citizens". The lobby feels akin to a hostel, in that its very communal, even with the likes of business workers. Its affordable and in a good location. Watch out for all the bikes!"

"I loved the technology from the ipad room control, the automatic sign in and key making, superb lift system, and all the fittings were great. My only criticism is the free coffee system on each floor ( not in the room) was a bit difficult to get right and two mornings there was no milk cartons on my floor. "

"This property was a perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay to catch a next day flight. The free shuttle bus was great at the airport, took about 10 mins to get to the hotel after midnight. The clerk at the check in desk was friendly, smiling and had our room keys all ready. The room was great, small, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Looking out the window in the morning we looked into a forest and saw 3 huge bunnies. The buffet breakfast was great and we sat in the sun filled dining area awaiting our shuttle to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay. "
