"Marvelous stay. Cozy house well equiped. Did not give cleanliness highest score because property had not really been de-winterized yet meaning, still a lot of leaves and some dirt on porches. We gave it a brush :-), not a big deal. And the house was spotless. I guess it’s normal coming out of a mountain winter. The location is very good with trails in close vicinity and lot’s of options in the region. Also good grocery options not too far away so if you forget an egg that is not a problem …"

"Overall, the stay was acceptable for a short overnight during a road trip. Some suggestions for future improvements. 1) upgrade bathroom shower2) make the kitchen floor level3) eliminate musty odor throughout home. 4) Repair/replace screen door on backdoor. 5) tighten screws/fasteners for living room coffee table (wobbles and unstable)"

Such a treat for our Blowing Rock native 91yo mother! Fabulous porch for soaking up glorious mountain breezes reminiscing about this quaint town she grew up in. "Our family, with adult children, spent the weekend in Boone. Each bedroom has a bathroom which makes it very convenient. Such a peaceful area and house! Close to everything in town. So clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for us to gather. We were able to be together and make great memories. "
