"Some of the rooms are very isolated and the pillows are very uncomfortable to sleep with. The staff were quick and helpful and I liked the nice breakfast included. While the area is not the most charming one it is practical as it’s very close to downtown. "

"This plain hostel suits minimalists. Well Iocated on a quiet side street, there is street noise from revelers. Friendly, helpful staff, but missing things like hot water in kitchen to wash dishes, hotter water for showers. Kitchen has only microwave for cooking. Everything seems budgeted—no soaps, low lighting. No activities for hostelers. Good Wi-Fi. Plain. "

"It was a nice little apartment. We were only there for one night. Walked to a huge mall for dinner. Too noisy in the building at night- doors slamming, people old inside and outside- not soundproof. Staff was great- set taxi pick up for us and had “to-go” breakfast ready before we left "

"This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The building is stunning, and the room was surprisingly elegant for the price—beautifully designed, spotless, and so comfortable. "This has been one of the best city hotels we have stayed at. We received a room upgrade to a suite as part of the VIP perk, which made our stay even more fabulous. The facility is amazing and the staff is caring and ready to help. Made our stay with our toddler a breeze. Thank you all and we hope to be back! "

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to stay in Madrid! It's a short walk away from a lot of sights, easy to hail a cab outside (even with the sidewalk construction). We opted for the balcony room but looking back on it, wouldn't mind an inside room to cut down on traffic noise in the morning. Atocha is very busy at all hours of the day and with that comes basic traffic noise, (honking, etc). We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip in Spain and we left some items the first night. I wasn't hopeful that they would have hung on to them, but sure enough, I emailed the hotel and they had my items! Very appreciative and thankful for that. All the hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would most definitely say here again! "
