"We were greated by the very nice staff upon arrival, who gave us a super room since it was my birthday, so thank you! The pool was lovely, and most important of all, quiet and relaxing. "I am a Los Angeles native and travel frequently. Thi is the hotel my Husband and I prefer in downtown Palm Springs. We have stayed here numerous times. And, it is consistent. The location is walking distance to all the restaurants and entertainment, The rooms are large, clean and updated. We always book a top floor room, w/ Mountain view & large balcony. It's worth every dollar more. The morning view and tranquility is amazing. If your looking for five star luxury, there are certainly more luxurious hotels in the area. However, this hotel provides true value. The resort fee is modest, includes valet with in and out access. ( Please tip the valet,I have noticed that many people do not tip.) People that work at this hotel go beyond the call of duty, are are truly happy people. It makes a big difference! Thanks to Lane, Char, Maggie and Armando,Christian for always making the stay great."

"We loved our stay here! I need a handicap room, and this one was most "handy" I have ever stayed in! It was spacious enough to maneuver my scooter. The bathroom: sink at the correct height, controls for the shower were at the right level, a niche to put extra bath products in (sooo rare), and a shower chair was provided. Slope of the shower was correct, so the room didn't get flooded. And we loved the eye-catching art (so many handicap rooms are so drab). The pool was just the right temperature! The staff were all very pleasant. And we appreciated the robes/slippers/towels that were provided. (We re-used our pool towels, until the day we left, so we didnt have to ask for more. Some people have complained about shortage of towels, but thats an easy workaround!) They dont offer breakfast, but 1 block north is the "Desert Bakery" which has fabulous, reasonable goodies & coffee (there's a McD on the other side of the road). "
