The first night we arrived pretty late due to delayed flights and the attendant wasn't overly helpful with getting us a crib/pack-n-play but I think he was new to the position. "This hotel was nice and on the newer side. The staff was great, very helpful and accommodating. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament, not a beach trip so the location was good for our needs, 5 minutes from the sports complex. Our only complaint was it is directly across the street from a water reclamation facility which meant there was a constant odor."

"The reason communication was terrible is because the beach was contaminated and they did not warn guests of the risk. (DOH-Collier issues water quality health advisory on three Marco Island beaches; E coli at issue) The hotel has very good facilities and fun activities for children and adults. "We have been coming here for years when it was a traditional hotel. Now it is condos which you can rent. Although some of the amenities are gone, the staff is great, space is nice with kitchenette, great pool and access to beach. Shower was teeny tiny but we’d still come back. "

It has so many amenities that chain hotels neglect to include- real coffee mugs, a comfy seating area, fridge and freezer, space to eat, multiple pillow types, ample closet space, reliable internet…plus there is a charming outdoor mall with cute shops just steps away.
