"Loved our stay at Carmel River Inn. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They were very considerate of our dogs and have lots of small touches for dog owners. The room was comfortable and quite spacious. We were in the older cottage, no not one of the newly remodeled King ones, but it was still pleasant and we really enjoyed the stay. "

"everything was great, the staff were very friendly. the only thing i noticed were a couple of pieces of trash left in the bathroom but other than that the rest of the room was clean and tidy. it was a walkable distance to ocean avenue and there’s a deli a block away from the inn which was nice. the price was also reasonable, i’d definitely consider staying here again :)"

"We spent 8 lovely nights in Barry's Guest House on an extended vacation. He was SUCH a wonderful host! Proactive in sharing information and very responsive when we had any questions. We had been to Las Vegas and Disneyland prior to arrival in Carmel. What a pleasant change! The cottage had everything we could possibly need. From the beyond comfortable bedding to the luxurious shower, everything was awesome. Several times later in the trip, we lamented how much we missed the always ready...
